Job Summary
Bank Asia PLC is inviting applications for the position of Head of Student Banking (Up to AVP) under Retail Banking. This leadership role is responsible for expanding and supervising the student banking portfolio across branches and Agent Banking outlets. The selected candidate will drive business growth, enhance student engagement, and ensure sustainable portfolio development aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
Bank Asia-AVP Head of Student Banking Need Educational Requirements:-
- Master’s/Postgraduate degree from a reputed public or private university.
- Minimum Second Class/Division in all academic examinations.
- No Third Class/Division accepted at any level.
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in the banking sector.
- Proven experience in Student File and Student Banking business operations.
- Experience in Strategic Alliance Management will be an added advantage.
Additional Skills
- Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
- Expertise in strategic planning and student file processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise student banking operations across branches and Agent Banking outlets to ensure service excellence.
- Drive growth in student deposit accounts and student files to expand the bank’s liability base.
- Develop and execute financial literacy programs, campaigns, and student-focused events.
- Identify new growth opportunities and introduce innovative products and process improvements.
- Generate revenue through fee-based income streams.
- Collaborate with Remittance Operations, International Division, and other stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and promote financial inclusion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining high service standards.
